The concert of Slovak Radio Orchestra: Academic Overture, Op. 80, Ernő Dohnányi: Violin Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 43, Franz Schmidt: Symphony No. 3 in A major, soloist: Milan Paľa
On the november 11th the concert of Slovak radio orchestra was conducted by Martin Leginus, who only two days earlier (7.11.) had led the orchestra, chorus and soloists of the Slovak National Theatre Opera in a performance of Verdi's Rigoletto, with the worldknown baritone Simon Keenlyside in the title role. Two major artistic events in such a short time span are not usual for a conductor. Martin Leginus presented himself in both the first and second cases as a focused, responsive, but above all precise and maximally prepared artist.
12 November 2018, Terézia Ursínyová, Opera Slovakia
